January 2008

Bjenk Eleffsen, who joined the Life Patterns team in December 2006, has returned to Quebec. Bjenk had been awarded a scholarship from the Canadian research body Fonds Québécois de la recherche sur la société et la culture (FQRSC) to spend time at the Youth Research Centre analysing and writing from the Life Patterns database.

November 2006

Associate Professor Lesley Andres visited the Australian Youth Research Centre during November–December 2006 to work with the Life Patterns team and in particular with Johanna Wyn on a book which discusses the ‘making of a generation’ through a comparison of her Canadian Paths on Life’s Way data with the Life Patterns data.
