Related LinksA 15 year (a continuing) longitudinal study exploring the experiences of 1989 and 1990 high school graduates in British Columbia Canada. Professor Lesley Andres, from the University of British Columbia, is the principal investigator for this project. Professor Andres is also a chief investigator in the new Pathways Then and Now project. Below is a non-exhaustive list of other longitudinal studies of young people currently underway in Australia. Longitudinal Surveys of Australian Youth (LSAY) LSAY follows the lives of a number of groups, the oldest cohort were born in 1961 and the youngest in 1987-88, of young Australians through the transition from school into post-secondary education and work. 2000 Stories – Victorian Adolescent Health Cohort Study A longitudinal study of adolescent health in Victoria that began with a cohort of Year 9 and Year 10 students in 1992. Australian Temperament Project (ATP) The ATP is a longitudinal study of the psychosocial development of Australian children from Victoria, Australia who were born in 1982 and 1983. Mater-University of Queensland Study of Pregnancy (MUSP) The MUSP is a longitudinal study of the social and physical health of young people and their mothers that commenced in 1981 during the participants’ prenatal period. |
