Student Wellbeing Action Partnership SWAP

SACSC Cluster Feedback Day October 2007 - Video

The Catholic Education Office Melbourne worked in partnership with VicHealth to establish the Schools as Core Social Centres (SACSC) project in 2002. The projects aims are :-

  1. To promote and understanding of the links between wellbeing and improved learning outcomes.
  2. To support the development of a whole-school approach to student wellbeing.
  3. To increase the capacity of schools and communities through the development of collaborative partnerships.

In this video, teachers and school leaders from the seven clusters speak about the benefits of SACSC to their school community and the challenge of sustaining the project. Filmed at the Treacy Centre (Parkville) in October 2007, this 13-minute video can be viewed on your PC, mobile media player or shared with colleagues at a staff meeting.
