Graduate School of Education Research Services is based at Level 4 in the Alice Hoy Building, The University of Melbourne, Parkville Campus. Research Services supports the work of the Melbourne Education Research Institute (MERI) and the Graduate School of Education
The Research Office provides research administrative and professional support for:
- National Competitive and University and Graduate School based Research Grants.
- Research tender and contract coordination, assistance and processing.
- Maintaining information and materials relating to our Research Strengths and Themes.
- Awards and Scholarships for academic staff and postgraduate students.
- Coordinating and processing Human Research Ethics applications.
- Coordinating the Graduate School's Publications collection.
- Editorial support.
- Contract and project management support.
- Industry and community liaison.
- Commercialisation assistance and coordination.
- Monitoring statistical information relating to Research and Research Training.
- Monitoring progress of and providing services to Graduate School of Education Higher Degree Research local and international postgraduate students.
- Executive services to the Associate Dean (Research and Research Training), Director Melbourne Education Research Institute (MERI), Graduate School Research and Research training Committee and its sub-committees and its representative to the University's Research and Research Training Committees.
