Faculty of Education Competitive GrantsProject Title: Contemporary Aboriginal Arts Study in the Middle Years Project Summary: This study (building on a 2007 pilot) is to develop and refine an Aboriginal art and music module of approximately 8-10 hours duration, in conjunction with Aboriginal educators, Aboriginal artists and secondary school arts teachers. The module will form the basis of a case study at Williamstown High School. An outcome of the study will be an exemplar module of teaching materials, (Aboriginal Contemporary Music Module) for use by the teaching community and Master of Teaching students. |
