Expression of Interest
in Masters (with a thesis component), Doctor of Education and PhD Programs
Purposes and processes
Before submitting an application to the School of Graduate Studies (for PhD) or to the Graduate School of Education Student Centre (for DEd and Masters with a thesis component), potential students are first required to prepare an Expression of Interest form.
Exceptions for this process are the Masters and Doctor of Educational Psychology.
(Information on these degrees)
The Expression of Interest form is not intended to be a final or worked up version of the research you may eventually do.
Submitting the Expression of Interest form does not guarantee a place in our degrees.
It is required to help establish whether you are eligible to apply for a degree with a thesis component with the Graduate School of Education.
Please follow these steps in order to submit your Expression of Interest in undertaking a degree with a research component.
For information on suggesting a supervisor, search the Graduate School research interests.
This listing is currently under construction, but if you follow the links from this page you can gain access to information on research centres, research themes, and academic clusters in the Graduate School that may reflect your area of interest. You can also look at the teaching programs: look for subjects in your area of interest and see who is teaching them.
Additionally, you can work through the names of academic staff to read their areas of expertise.
