Dick Cotter retired in 2000 after more than twenty years lecturing in educational administration, first at the Hawthorn Institute of Education, then at the University of Melbourne. Dr Cotter's research work explores education and policy, particularly as it relates to the quality movement. He has researched and published on benchmarking in schools, presented school review professional development programs and conducted reviews of school programs. Since his retirement Dick has been much in demand as an educational consultant.

Rod is the Managing Director of William Bethwey & Associates. He has wide experience in the private and public sectors in Australia, Europe and the Asia Pacific region, including ten years in a ‘Big Six’ consultancy firm where he led the Knowledge Based Business Service Line for the Asia Pacific region. He has led the development of numerous Knowledge Management Strategies and has been involved across a broad range of knowledge management solutions, including the analysis, design and implementation of Document Management, Records Management, Portal technologies, Search and Retrieval Systems, Imaging, Workflow and Collaborative Systems.

Rod lectures in post-graduate programmes at RMIT University and the University of Melbourne and has published a number of research articles. He is a regular presenter at conferences and workshops around the Asia-Pacific region.

The Centre for Organizational Learning and Leadership is delighted to welcome Dr Ross Millikan. Ross joins COLL after an outstanding academic and teaching career. A qualified music teacher, Ross subsequent pursued a research interest in educational administration in Australia and Canada. Ross has lectured in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education of the University of Melbourne and at other Australian and overseas institutions. He was Principal and CEO of Carey Baptist Grammar School from 1990 to 2001. Ross currently works as an educational consultant.
