Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Studies (Gifted Development) Master of Education Professional Development is available by request, and can be structured to suit the individual needs of groups of educators and psychologists. PD workshops and seminars may be credited towards study for a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Studies or a Master of Education. Subjects taught in Gifted Education Classroom strategies for gifted education (476892) This subject introduces participants to the learning characteristics of students who are gifted and the implications of these characteristics for teaching. It focuses on understanding the multiple ways in which students can display gifted learning and what this means for effective classroom practice. Administrative programs for the gifted (476685) This subject examines a range of programs and curriculum approaches currently used to foster gifted learning. The focus is on implementing a differentiated curriculum that matches how these students learn. A range of programs currently used in gifted education is analysed and the areas and learning characteristics for which they are of most appropriated are identified.
