The ELC is a specialised research and demonstration kindergarten attached to the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at The University of Melbourne. It operates for eight continuous hours per day, Monday to Friday, for 48 weeks per year. It services 89 three to five year old children daily with approximately 160 children enrolled from The University and the surrounding community. The ELC is fully accredited and exceeds all federal and state regulations. |
The Early Learning Centre operates: 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday from 23 Jan – 21 Dec 2012. The children's learning program is designed and implemented by degree qualified early childhood teachers, and specialist classes in dance, drama, visual art and music are offered by artists/teachers. Our mission is to provide an exemplary educational experience in a humanistic and environmentally mindful setting. |
