Welcome to SWU

The Student Wellbeing Unit is responsible for the coordination and teaching of the Master of Education (Student Wellbeing).

The SWU also offers two subjects in the Master of Education :

• Managing Conflct in Educational Settings
  
  and
  
• Approaches to Trauma and Grief in Educational Contexts
  

SWU staff are engaged in research projects in the areas of wellbeing and teacher student relationships and whole school approaches to conflict management and cultural diversity. They supervise research in the areas of the student wellbeing policy, programs and practice, the teacher's role in wellbeing, teacher-student relationships, cross cultural issues, school-home and school-community partnerships.
