Welcome to the Multimedia Lab
The Multimedia Lab, located in room 208 of the Doug McDonell building is available to undergraduate and postgraduate Faculty of Education students and staff for the development, production and research of class assignments and Multimedia projects.
The lab is equipped with 5 Apple Mac and 3 Windows PC computers which have a selection of software installed. Here are some of the things you can do in the multimedia lab:
- Scanning - facilities for A4 and A3 scanning, slide scanning (35mm negatives and transparencies) and OCR (Optical Character Recognition).
- Printing - A4, A3 (colour).
- Video capture and editing, exporting to DVD.
- Graphics and design work using available software.
- CD and DVD duplication.
Students or staff wanting any assistance can ask a staff member in the Multimedia lab, however for extended help, we ask you to make a booking in advance to accommodate your requirements and the availability of the Multimedia staff.
