Welcome to CPELLCPELL brings together researchers who have strong reputations in the study of post-compulsory pathways and qualifications and who bring a national and international perspective to their work in this field. The quality of the work of these experienced researchers is recognised nationally and internationally. Indicators include the award of major contracts to track and analyse the post-schooling destinations and pathways of young people in three Australian states; teaching and research focussing on pathways and qualifications in four major OECD nations in Europe; publications in international refereed journals; books and chapters of books by major overseas publishers; invitational seminars and conference presentations; membership of editorial boards, and consultancies for international organisations and Australian agencies. The social science laboratory/observatory setting of CPELL and its location in Australia’s premier research university also give it unparalleled access to the latest publications and research findings in education. The senior researchers in this team are widely consulted by stakeholders and enjoy a high level of credibility. The attached list of consultancies/major projects and the list of seminar/conference presentations show that the researchers are very active in seeking to translate research into policy, both at the level of government and at the level of program delivery. |
