Catherine has been appointed to the new position of Practicum Partnerships Co-ordinator (Secondary) in the Master of Teaching program.
Prior to 2008, Catherine was lecturer and co-ordinator of Secondary English Learning Area.

Catherine has been a member of the VCAA text selection committee for VCE English since 2005.
