Sheralyn Campbell was a lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne until April 2002 and now co-ordinates a long day care centre in Eden, New South Wales. Specialised researching and teaching
Sheralyn is currently researching how gender, culture, race, class and sexuality intersect in children's learning in early childhood settings, what makes it possible for teachers to critically engage with these issues, and how teachers are able to sustain innovation in their teaching practices. She is particularly interested in what postmodern theory offers to effecting practical changes in how equity and social justice are constructed in early childhood pedagogy.
