The CEIEC team

The CEIEC assembles an exciting and highly experienced team of multi-disciplinary researchers, research fellows and centre associates who are recognised nationally and internationally for their outstanding and distinctive scholarship and advocacy on social justice, equity, children's rights and innovation in early childhood.

They bring a collective wealth of experience in:

  • collaborative research with early childhood practitioners on equity and innovation in early childhood education and services for young children
  • research, consultancy and advice to policy makers
  • individual research on equity, innovation in early childhood education, and human rights for children and families
  • teaching with children and families in the field of early childhood education
  • management and program delivery of children's services in Australia and overseas
  • training, and professional development with of early childhood practitioners, advisers, and regulators
The team comprises:
  • academic staff and researchers at the University of Melbourne
  • national and international associate researchers and research fellows
  • research assistants
  • practitioner research fellows
  • postgraduate research students

The CEIEC is currently adding to this expertise and capacity to respond to a diverse range of client needs by assembling a unique, e-network of international and national researchers, trainers and policy advisers committed to the CEIEC's mission and who will contribute to our research and training development programs.

The CEIEC also offers clients access to a group of highly experienced early childhood trainers, expert in delivering training to diverse audiences and using diverse training models and technologies.
