INSPIRE

INSPIRE Inspiring New Strategies Practices Institutions Rethinking Early education

An on-line searchable databank of images, audio and video to INSPIRE to inspire innovation and equity in work with young children and to support work for equity with young children.

INSPIRE enables you to:

  • Browse the INSPIRE databank via its core categories of ‘Innovations’ in teaching and learning environments and ‘Equity’ issues in teaching and learning.
  • Search the INSPIRE databank using keywords or the dropdown labels menu if know what it is you would like to look for.

INSPIRE has been funded through the University of Melbourne’s Melbourne Graduate School of Education Information Technology grants. The content of the site has been developed by members of the Centre for Equity and Innovation in Early Childhood (CEIEC) in the School. The team included:

  • Associate Professor Glenda Mac Naughton
  • Jane Page
  • Gillian Williams
  • Heather Lawrence
  • Kylie Smith.

Early childhood centres' and staff generously contributed to the site.

The technical development of the site was undertaken by David Corbett with the assistance of staff from the Melbourne Graduate School of Education’s Information Technology staff.
