The RESPECT Project : Case StudiesTwo big issues emerged from the RESPECT project: 1. Parents' involvement in their children’s care and education RESPECT participants dealt with these issues in different ways, but shared the aim of making their relationships with parents more equitable. The RESPECT team have developed Case Studies around each of those two big issues. Each Case Study draws on one participant’s experience in the RESPECT project, but it highlights elements of that experience that were shared by more than one participant. Each is a case study of action learning’s effect on participants’ view of their circumstances at work. More specifically, each RESPECT Case Study shows how action learning changed participants’ view of parents and/or their relationships with them and how, in turn, these changes suggested to participants how they could make their relationships with parents more equitable. (Pseudonyms have been used throughout the Case Studies.)
