The RESPECT Project : Background

In 2005, Melbourne City Council asked the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Equity and Innovation in Early Childhood (CEIEC) to design, deliver and report on a project that would enable and encourage early childhood staff within the City of Melbourne to develop more equitable and respectful relationships with families. The project was called RESPECT (Researching Equitable Staff Parent Engagement in Children’s Services Today).
