Staffing

P. Griffin, S. Gillis, J. Keating, D. Fennessy, M. Jelinek

Summary

The Assessment Research Centre at the University of Melbourne was commissioned by the Australian National Training Authority to provide advice to ANTA MINCO and MCEETYA, ACACA Agencies and universities on ways of deriving differentiated performance data from VET courses within senior secondary certificates. The primary aim of the project was to develop an understanding of the methods and practices that lead to both a normative score and competency based assessment and the issues raised in bringing together the two different approaches.
