Research Centres

Within the Melbourne Graduate School of Education there are 8 distinct research centres, harnessing some of the leading researchers in Australian education and training, policy and management. These centres conduct international quality research to further improve education systems and student outcomes:

• Centre for Post compulsory Education and Lifelong Learning (CPELL)
• Assessment Research Centre (ARC)
• Youth Research Centre (YRC)
• Centre for Organizational Leadership and Learning (COLL)
• Centre for Equity and Innovation in Early Childhood (CEIEC)
• International Centre for Classroom Research (ICCR)
• Problem Gambling Research and Treatment Centre

The School's Melbourne Education Research Institute works as an overarching body to support the work of the research centres and researchers.

Working in parallel to the research centres are the School's academic clusters which are associations of academics, and postgraduate higher degree research students with a commonality of research and teaching interests each contributing to the research and teaching priorities and programs within the School.
