School Administration
Organised into six support teams reporting to the School General Manager
- Office of the Dean and General Manager - Leadership and management including planning and executive support.
- Research Services - Supports higher degree by research students and staff, including grant applications, research human ethics, research training, publications industry and community liaison, tenders, awards for staff and students, funding opportunities, contract administration, editorial support, postscript (on-line journal) and research committees.
- Education Student Centre -
Support for prospective and current students, including course
selection and changes, enrolment, assignments, results, international
student support and professional practice. Teaching Services - supports
coursework programs, including timetabling, teaching materials,
tutorial allocation and specialist teaching requirements. Marketing Unit - supports marketing onshore and offshore programs including media, international
relations, alumni, study abroad and external relations.
- Staff Services -
Providing HR services to all staff and honorary members of School, including, co-ordination of recruitment and appointment paperwork, sessional contracts and pay, organising inductions and arrangements for new staff and other general HR related activities.
The Staff Services Manager also supervises a team of cluster administrators who will be the primary liaison links between academic clusters and central School administrative service areas.
- ed-IT - IT services for staff and students, including Local IT Experts (LITE's), multimedia and web development and systems security.
- Financial Services - Financial planning and accounting including purchasing, budget reporting, assets, trusts, salaries and casual payments.
