PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

RURAL, INTERSTATE AND OVERSEAS PLACEMENTS

There are opportunities for student teachers are able to undertake a placement in country Victoria, interstate or overseas. It is unlikely that more than one such placement would be permitted during a student’s course because of assessment requirements. Normally students cannot undertake final “ready to teach” placement out of the metropolitan area. Student Teachers should seek the advice of the relevant Professional Practice Coordinator as early as possible as non-metropolitan placements are only appropriate for particular placements.
